Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team at Applied Medical’s European headquarters in Amersfoort (NL). In this role, you are responsible for analyzing sales and other business processes including the development and maintenance of analytical models and reports. With your strong analytical skills, you translate data into valuable information and provide recommendations for improvement. You are also able to understand and respond to the needs of a fast-growing international organization.

 

The Business Analyst is part of the Business Analysis department, which consists of six team members. You will report to the Director of Business Analysis and Planning. The department is responsible for business-wide reporting, business interaction processes, commercial optimization, and planning.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ongoing reviews and coordinate the improvement of business processes while developing a network across the business
  • Develop business optimization models to analyze data and present key learnings and strategies to relevant stakeholders
  • Analyze commercial opportunity proposals such as tenders, customer pricing and or product sample allocation
  • Coordinate and prepare the Annual Planning cycle and quarterly forecast for 15 European entities
  • Review and present monthly and quarterly variance reports to the departments and senior managers
  • Be a sparring partner for business managers and Finance team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce or Strategic Management
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar position is required
  • Excellent practical knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of other European languages is preferred
  • Experience with ERP (e.g. SAP) and CRM systems
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills
  • Work experience in an international environment is preferred
