Job Description

Are you looking for the next step in your career in an expanding, international company? Consider joining our diverse Tender & Contracts team as German speaking Contract Management Coordinator. The focus for this position is to identify, review, coordinate and prepare tender & contracts submissions in a timely manner and according to internal and external procedures. You will liaise with our local sales teams in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH region), external customers and internal departments like legal, clinical development, regulatory affairs, and finance etc. In the Tender & Contracts team, there are fixed deadlines that are set by external parties and cannot be negotiated. Therefore, it is essential to be able to work in a structured manner and adhere to deadlines.

 

You will be based at our European head office in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, and you will report to the Team Leader Tender & Contracts.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Cooperate with internal legal department and sales leadership in the contract process by ensuring the proper and timely execution of contract clauses
  • Coordinate the process of quotations with terms & conditions
  • Review and advise on commercial offers, contract documents, and cascade their implementation to other departments
  • Prepare and participate in negotiations with GPOs and act as a contact person for their questions
  • Provide strategic support for bidding decisions
  • Inform external customers of price and product changes during the agreement cycle
  • Highlight contract deviations and suggest solutions to prevent conflicts during agreement cycles
  • Identify tender opportunities and escalate to the sales leadership
  • Set up tender plans (from codification to submission)
  • Act as back up during Team Leader’s absence

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree level
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Strong affinity with Sales Support
  • Fluency in German (near native), both written and spoken
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Good understanding of written texts featuring legal and medical language
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
