Job Description

Would you like to join our expanding team as EDI Developer within our recently established Software Development Team? Your focus as EDI Developer will be on requests and various projects related to an electronic data interchange (EDI) for our internal European organization, however these can also be globally oriented. Moreover, you will be in close cooperation with the European IT team and our applications development team at our US global headquarters (located in California).

 

You will be part of our Software Development team at our European Head office in Amersfoort (NL) and report to the Lead Developer.

 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Participate in the development, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions by ensuring they comply with business needs
  • Develop and maintain various applications with EDI Coordinators and Business Analysts
  • Assist and support daily EDI production operations
  • Work on data mapping and conversions based on both internal and external partner requirements
  • Monitor B2B Integration, SAP system and EDI production processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with ERP systems, EDI, B2B Integration (Sterling Integrator), data mapping and conversions
  • Experience with SAP ABAP, and familiar with PEPPOL
  • Good knowledge of data formats including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and non-standard file formats
  • Familiar with common EDI transmission protocols AS2, FTP, SFTP
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a team environment
  • Excellent level of English spoken and written
  • Be open to flexible working hours
