Job Description

We are looking for a motivated AP/GL Accountant to join our finance team. In this role you will be responsible for the accurate processing of the assigned financial transactions for several entities in Europe.
You are based at our European headquarters in Amersfoort, The Netherlands and you report to the Accounting Manager.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full vendor invoice registration process, including vendor check, GL account coding, PO match, purchase authorization sign off and preparation of vendor payments
  • Responsible for the team member expense registration process including accounting review of expense items and reimbursement of expenses
  • Responsible for allocation of customer payments
  • Analyze and re-work non-allocated payments
  • Assist with general ledger account reconciliations
  • Book general ledger journal entries
  • Manage ad hoc projects

Requirements

  • MBO degree level
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Relevant experience in a similar position is preferred
  • Work experience in an international environment is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
