Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Community Relations Events Coordinator to join our community relations team. You are responsible for the organization and coordination of programs and events in order to make a positive meaningful difference to the external community.


You are based at the European office in Amersfoort and you report to the Senior Community Relations Coordinator.

 

Within Applied Medical this position has the internal job title of Community Relations Coordinator.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, organize and coordinate programs and events designed to make a positive contribution to the in- and external community
  • Organize and coordinate programs and events designed to engage and support the wellbeing of the team members
  • Create content for both internal and external communication
  •  Enthuse and coordinate volunteers at events
  • Coordinate with vendors/partners on event-related matters
  • Evaluate, coordinate and support the processing of charity requests
  • Administrate the budgets and provide periodic progress reports for each initiative/project
  • Support with tracking the event finances including purchase requisitions and invoices
  • Serve as an ambassador in maintaining and strengthening Applied Medical's company culture

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management or Communication
  • 2+ years relevant work experience
  • Work experience in an international environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Relevant experience in organizing events and working on multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch
