Job Description

As an IT Asset Administrator you are responsible for the IT Configuration Management database (CMDB) content and providing support in IT related administrative processes. You will be part of the Applied Technologies Services (ATS) - Service Desk team at our European Head office in Amersfoort which is part of and works closely together with other IT teams and our team in the US.

You will report to the IT Service Manager.

 

Within Applied Medical this position has the internal job title of IT Technical Administrator.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with company safety rules and guidelines
  • Prepare and inspect the shipment of IT related equipment
  • Updating equipment/device/asset/license administration
  • Maintain general administration such as reviewing and updating inactive assets, accounts, and management of lost devices
  • Prepare and distribute inventory reports
  • Act as storage room custodian, responsible for the correct storage of IT inventory
  • Periodically review the asset database and correct administration in the various IT support and IT service management systems
  • Manage database records related to IT, such as telecom providers
  • Create and maintain work instructions and product catalogs

Requirements

  • MBO education level, preferably in IT
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Precision and having an eye for detail are attributes you bring to the team
  • Understands IT terminology and IT Service management tools
  • Knowledge of Excel pivot tables, filters as well as working with CSV files
