Job Description

For our Tender Management team, we are looking for a Contract Management Representative (DACH region). You are primarily responsible for managing the Group Purchase Organization (GPO) contracts and relevant public procurement processes and handling all customer and sales teams requests related to contracts on time and in an adequate manner.

You are based in our offices in Amersfoort, The Netherlands and you report to the Team Leader Tender & Contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and understand contract terms & conditions and price proposals
  • Highlight deviations and suggest solutions and process enhancements to prevent conflicts during contract cycles
  • Assist sales leadership by actively reviewing and advising on commercial offers, contract documents, and cascade their implementation to other departments
  • Assist the legal department & sales leadership in the contract process by ensuring the proper and timely execution of contract clauses
  • Coordinate the process of quotations with terms & conditions, including understanding and preparing the documents and advising other departments
  • Prepare and participate in negotiations with GPOs and act as a contact person for their questions
  • Inform customers of price and product changes during the agreement cycle
  • Identify tender opportunities, cascade the tender requirements to the sales and management teams, provide them with strategic support for the bidding decisions, and set up the tender plan (from codification to submission)
  • Assist and cooperate with the Team Leaders throughout the hiring process and in the training and coaching of new team members. Report relevant issues and support management activities
  • Act as back up during Team Leader’s absence and to resolve daily issues for all tender related matters and act as point of contact for questions from other departments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree level.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Strong affinity with Sales Support
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills German
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Very good understanding of written texts featuring legal and medical language
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and Windows-based computer applications
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
  • Ability to travel if required
