Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Junior Product Manager to join our Clinical Development team at Applied Medical. In this entry-level, fulltime position, where the primary responsibility is to support some phases of the product life cycle such as product launch, post-market surveillance and product obsolescence. In this role the Junior Product Manager will gain an understanding of how to define the clinical and economic needs of our customers

 

Within Applied Medical this position has the internal job title of Clinical Development Analyst.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Help support some phases of the product life cycle (e.g. product launch, post-market surveillance and product obsolescence)
  • Gain an understanding of how to define the clinical and economic needs of our customers
  • Act as a product expert and support bids to public contracts (tenders) by filling out product questionnaires and drafting technical reports
  • Support the product complaint process
  • Gain an understanding of key surgical procedures and products
  • Gain an understanding of the healthcare systems, market dynamics and competitive landscapes in the various countries we support
  • Support requests from the field for product information

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree, preferably related to healthcare
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, positive outlook and commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement
  • Strong commitment to delivering high quality work and upholding Applied Medical’s values
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

 

The following qualifications are desirable, but not mandatory :

  • Fluency in multiple European languages
  • Knowledge about European healthcare systems and dynamics
  • Knowledge about colorectal, general, bariatric, urologic, and gynecologic surgical procedures and products
