Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Credit Collector to join our team. In this role, you will initially be responsible for cash collection of our customers. In addition, you will take responsibility for cash collection of other countries together with the team.

 

You are based in our headquarters in Amersfoort and you report to the Team Leader Credit Collectors.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform collection activities like sending reminders, calling customers and answering questions to ensure invoices are paid according to payment terms
  • Administrate the collection activities in the credit management system
  • Monitor the daily volume of credit holds and release orders according to the policies
  • Propose and monitor payment plans
  • Request credit reports in order to determine the customer’s credit risk level
  • Prepare standard reports to meet the customer and business requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree level
  • 1-2 years relevant experience in a business to business administrative position is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of any other European language is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Portuguese are preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Work experience in an international environment is preferred
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
