Job Description

Would you like to join our expanding team as Application Developer within our new Software Development Team? In this role your focus will be on working with low-code/no-code workflow platforms and create customized solutions, including workflows, business rules, task lists, forms, and dashboards. The emphasis will be on requests and projects for our internal European organization, but these can also be globally oriented. Moreover, you will be in close cooperation with the European IT team and the applications development team at our US global headquarters (located in California).

 

You will be part of the Software Development team at our European Head office in Amersfoort (NL) and report to the Manager Software Development.

 

Within Applied Medical the title of this position is Applications Designer.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop application solutions and automation utilizing the Decisions Workflow, Rule Platform or similar tools
  • Identify potential application solutions and automation opportunities
  • Build web forms, workflows, and related dashboards
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders (business analysts, developers, and quality assurance teams) to define system requirements
  • Interact with the development teams for SQL and API integrations
  • Write technical specifications
  • Participate in the development, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions

Requirements

  • BSc/hbo degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in utilizing Decisions Workflow and Rule Platform (or similar low-code/no-code workflow platform)
  • Experience with data types, variables, iterating arrays, exception handling, and debugging software
  • Good working knowledge of application and database design, enterprise systems and web applications
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a team environment
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Currently living in the Netherlands
  • Open to work flexible hours as regular contact with the US team is required (9 hours’ time difference)
