Job Description

We are looking for an International Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team. In our international environment, you are responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the entire payroll for all our European entities, according to company policies and legislative requirements. You work collaboratively with others to achieve team/business goals, and you act in accordance with policies.


You work at our European headquarters in Amersfoort and you report to the Financial Control and Payroll Manager.


Within Applied Medical this position has the internal job title of Payroll Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a timely and accurate monthly payroll for all team members with our local payroll partners within Europe
  • Work closely with the personnel administration team for changes that affect payroll
  • Perform various administrative duties with respect to (social) insurances and legislative requirements
  • Make suggestions for improvements of payroll procedures and work processes on the department
  • Deliver documents and reports for audit requests


  • At least 3+ years of relevant work experience with payroll and personnel administration
  • Experience with and knowledge of SAP HR module and/or is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in working with processes and procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Knowledge of one other relevant European language is preferred
